PROJECT 7

Rawdon, Leeds

10.09.18 - 28.09.18
DSWA Placement with Axis Walling

This lime mortar project in Rawdon was now in phase 2 (the build) after phase 1 (stripping) was completed some months back.

Great outdoors with serious risk assessment requirements.

For reasons unknown to to my placement provider, the stones have been moved in the interim period since the wall was stripped and made safe.

Perhaps there is a place for walling by numbers sometimes. As this was a coursed wall, we spent some considerable time trying to organise which stones would go into different course. We got there in the end, thanks to pictures that Nick had taken when in came to do estimates for the job.
