Dry stone field wall

This was a two person crafting project. Both of us were subcontracted by AB Walling, an established walling firm out of South Yorkshire.

The Bradford Delph random course sandstone wall lies on a mostly gentle slope with some steep sections which required stepping the footing-stones. Field to one side and housing delevolpment site on the other.

Restricted workspace between the wall and the recently planted hedges and none at all on the other-side, was the main challenge during this project. The usual occasional rain made appearances too.

An all round opportunity to learn some aspects of life on a construction site. Lots of thanks to AB Walling for involving us on this project.
