PROJECT 10
Farsley, Leeds
01.10.18 - 05.10.18
DSWA Placement with Axis Walling
The Farsley Community Church lime mortared project was a test of patience and technique. The large shaped cope stones needed all three members of the team to move them. Bedding them securely and accurately proved to be a major undertaking.
This was another case of the now usual story of tree roots pushing retaining walls out.
The Farsley Community Church itself sits in a conservation area, so even though very close to the high street, there was a good sense of tranquility.
