INDUCTION WEEK

Crooklands, Cumbria

16.07.18 - 20.07.18
DSWA Bursary Induction Week

The induction week in Crooklands was a good way to start my dry stone walling training. It was great to meet my peers, Master Cratsmen, DSWA Trustees and a Heritage Fund representative..

Days 1 to 3 were centred around how the Dry Stone Walling Association Bursary Project works, 2 separate courses on Emergency First Aid at Work and H & S for Construction

On day four of the induction week, all seven trainees walled on a single section of existing training wall under the instruction of a Master Craftsman with the assistance of a former trainee who is now a qualified professional waller and instructor.
