Part retaining dry stone wall

This was a complete rebuild of a 9.8 square metre section of dry stone field wall. Wall dimensions are 3.5 metres long by 1.4 metres high.
Additional stone was needed for this gritstone project - sourced elsewhere on the same property by client.

Long travel time was biggest challenge on this project. Our commitment to restoring dry stone walls is unwavering, so it was a delight to take the call from a repeat client despite the distance.

The livestock showed some interest as did the feathered wildlife; red kites in this case. What a wonderful way to spend a few days in early summer on 2020. I learnt a few bits about mixed cattle herds from the client, who just loves the environment.

As always, thank you to our clients for commissioning this project.
